Since the release of “Unrealized Impact” — Promise54’s first-of-its-kind, rigorous effort to quantify the state of diversity, inclusion, and equity in the field — we’ve received many requests for narratives highlighting organizations’ actual DEI journeys.
In response, we have written this series of in-depth case studies that reflect the messy reality of creating thriving environments for adults so they can do their best work on behalf of students, families, and communities. Based on hours of interviews and analyses of staff experience survey data and DEI plans, we strove to honestly represent critical feedback and progress made compared with sector benchmarks.
This data dashboard offers updated, more expansive data that Promise54 has gathered since the 2017 release of the “Unrealized Impact” report, focusing on the topics that we heard in each of our three case studies. The goal here is to provide some additional context at the national level.
